Member Benefits

We hope you will join us in our endeavors to bring more opportunities to learn about and show Western Dressage in Illinois by becoming a member of WDAIL.

· Discounts on attendance and participation at select WDAIL events.

· Eligible to participate in the WDAIL high point program by sending in copies of your scored tests at any schooling or 
   approved show that uses WDAA tests and rules..

· Eligibility to earn high scoring member awards at shows.

· Eligibility to attend our annual, members only meeting.

· Eligibility to vote, run for office, and submit your ideas for the future activities of the affiliate.

· Helping you connect locally with interested riders in your area and helping you advertise clinics or shows at your facility.

How to become a WDAIL member:

 1. Click on the button below to download and print the membership application.
     *To join WDAIL you must also be a member of WDAA. You can use the                  application to join WDAIL and you can join WDAA online at www.westerndressageassociation.org



     *If you are already a member of WDAA, just include your WDAA number on            the application. 

2. Fill out the application and mail it with a check made out to WDAIL to:

WDAIL 2025 High Point Program

WDAIL members are eligible to sign up for WDAIL High Point.  To sign up, send $15 per horse rider combination and level to our treasurer, 

Mary Skittino at WDAIL, 1801 Lemen Road, O’Fallon, IL  62269. 

You can sign up anytime as long as it is before you send your tests in to be counted.  

Scores should be submitted with proof in the form of test sheet showing show, horse name, riders name, test, judge and date. These can be from test sheet, official show results, or breed organization horse report forms. Photocopy, screen shot, email or other suitable form proof will be accepted...

Scores can be earned at any competition offering western dressage classes. These may include schooling shows, WDAA sponsored shows, USEF or breed competitions.

Horse owner and horse exhibitor must be members of WDAIL.

The scores shall be earned between December 1ST and November 31st.

 3 scores from 3 separate judges at 3 separate shows
Scores shall be from any test (s) at the same level
Horses may compete in more than one level for awards at different levels
Scores must be earned with the same horse and rider combination

A horse is not restricted to only one award per level if another rider also completes the above 

Scores shall be submitted by December 15th for tabulation to the awards committee representative,

Marilyn Weber was the WDAIL score winner at the Local USEF Spring Western Dressge Show held at Royale Ranch in O'Fallon, IL.  Marilyn earned  score of 73.382 in Basic Level Test 4 on her purebred Arabian gelding FORTE WF +.
